The church is now accepting nominations for 2014/15 Elders from members.
If you wish to nominate a brother as an Elder, please complete a nomination form available at the church office.
Your nomination must have the written approval of the nominee and the support of 4 other members.
The nomination form is to be submitted to Pastor Miranda, Chairman of the Elder Nomination Committee, no later than Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Elder nominees from the Elder Nomination Committee and from members will be announced starting Oct. 27 and Nov. 3, respectively.
On Nov. 24 the GMM we will be electing new elders.
Those remaining in their two year term are: David Yip, Terry Gee, D. Li and Kam Chan.
In addition, the Nominating Committee recommends to the congregation the following candidates: Wailee Wong, Stephen Tam, Stuart Fung and Vincent Ma.

If you are interested in a volunteer opportunity with “Homeless Connect” on Oct 20th from 10 - 3 PM, do not hesitate to make a difference to end poverty. This is a "community inspired event that provides free essential services to homeless and at-risk individuals on one day and at one location." The application deadline is Oct 11th.

Paula Yeung went to be with the Lord on Oct. 7.
Her memorial service will be held at SEAC on Oct. 19 at noon.
Due to limited parking we carpooling is encouraged for all attendees.

Four consecutive prerequisite Baptism Classes will be held in Room 215 at 9:30 AM commencing on Sunday Nov. 3rd. If you are unable to attend all four classes please make special arrangements with either Pastor Henry or Pastor Sam. If you are interested in transferring your membership from another Alliance Church OR becoming a member having already received ‘believer’s baptism’ in a non-Alliance Church, please contact Pastor Sam or Pastor Henry by email before Nov. 3rd.
Bible Quiz Meet on Oct. 18-19.
Our church will be hosting this event. There will be over 200 youth and their coaches from different parts of Alberta coming to our church for the competition. We really need your support. If you can provide Friday night accommodation to the out-of-town quiz teams, and/or prepare snacks for the event, please contact Angeli Chan or the church office for any details.
